The selection process favors lifters with national-level experience. The format and level of competition for the powerlifting events at the Arnold Sports Festival is similar to IPF international meets so there is preference to those lifters who have experience competing under those type of conditions.

For consideration for any of the events at the ASF (IPF Pro Deadlift Invitational, IPF Pro Bench Bash, NAPF Quest Invitational and Raw Challenge), all USAPL lifters are encouraged to compete at USAPL national championships to gain experience and recognition as a national-level competitor for selection.

The geographic regions may change but selection would still based on where a person resides.

Good luck. It is definitely an event worth qualifying for adn competing in.
