The only way it can have an effect on a lifter is if they compete in another World Meet and then try to lift in an IPF meet.

The IPF may choose to suspend/ban them from IPF competition at that point but USAPL won't stop them from lifting at Nationals etc.

Furthermore, the suspension from the IPF shouldn't preclude them from lifting at other USAPL meets - just the IPF.
