I've found the Fitness First gym in Tyson's Corner to have some good equipment and also the Sport & Health at Four Mile Fork in Fredricksburg to also have good PL equipment. I believe the World's Gym in Manassas used to be good, but can't verify that. Whichever one you choose you have to remember that they're not around the corner from one another and you also need to account for the traffic. It's not easy since most gyms in the area are really spas. Good luck.
