Agreed. They must not have realized that. They are mostly Europeans and do not know the affection that the USA has with legal courts.

Actually it was more of whom they could lift with. Remember apartheid? The IPF was not the only sport federation imposing restrictions on South African athletes at that time.

Which they did. The lifters were never suspended nor disallowed to lift at the USPF Nationals. They were just never allowed to lift at IPF Worlds.

Snowboarding was one. May have been resolved by now though. Their path to the IOC/Olympics was through the skiing federation not the international snowboard federation.

If you want to talk battles we powerlifters do not stand exclusively (nor involved with the largest ones. We just think we do. )
