I kind of like that word you thunk up.

All such words as policy, politic, etc come from the ancient Greek 'polis' - for city-state.

So 'polition' might be the process by which city-states are formed, or maybe a process by which politics are practiced or policy formed. Could be positive or negative.

Couple that with its hint of 'pollution' and you have a word suggesting a miasma infecting a political entity. Turn on national news any time and see 'polition' at work.

I think you are on to something.
