USAPL Hall of Fame.....

Does USAPL have a Hall of Fame for its lifters? What better way to show what historically ADFPA/USAPL lifters have done and also to show what we are about. I know there is a Womens hall of fame but no Men's or "general" USAPL Hall of Fame.

Wouldn't really have to be an elaborate process. Now that we have a newsletter just put a ballot in the newsletter. Maybe for the first time put allow - 10 lifters as a "base" and then 2 per year after that.

It could then be housed on the USAPL Site.

It could include a list of Brother Bennett Award winners as well as a page to show who Brother Bennett was and how the org was formed.

Here's a few people off the top of my head;

Ray Benemerito - until recently had never lost on US Soil

Shawn Cain - old and cranky - er, I meant to say has lifted in about 100 National meets.

Joe McAuliffe - he STILL holds some California records from when he was in college.

Dave Ricks - Ditto.

Johnny Graham - Lifter, meet director, referee, administrator and all around good influence. Plus, I fear him.

Hooper - what needs to be said. The fireplug is a stud.

Brad Gillingham - ditto except for the fireplug part..

Tony Harris - ditto. Who pulls 700+ with torn hamstrings, torn quads or whatever? Brudda, you is nuts. LOL

Scott Zwaanstra - never won Nationals but never placed below third against some top competition.

Rob Wagner

Sean Culnan -

Tony Cardella - he's quietly racked up a number of National titles. Every year someone else is picked to win but Tony has managed to hold on and take home first place. I've known him since he was a snot nosed college boy with a tiny total. Well, he threw down the tiny total (sadly I caught it) and has been kicking ass ever since.

What about Leslie Look?

Ellen Stein?

Betsy Ojanen ?

Oh my God... how could I forget Sioux-Z (I think I finally spelled that right?)

Priscilla Ribic

Vickie Hembree

Bob Strange
Sam Alduenda
Robert Cortes

Ervin Gainer

Just a few ideas.... thinking outloud....

and the best thing about this is ..... since it would be on the website we just turn it over to Cardella. LOL
