a few suggestions...
the late Doug Young...inspired thousands of lifters with both his physique and strength...plus a two time world champion.
Mike MacDonald...35 world records in the bench press, 22 officially recognized by the IPF. Won the Juniors, 2nd at the Seniors, 3rd at the Worlds...but simultaneously holding the IPF bench record in 4 weight classes should count for something.
John Kuc...4 time world champion, multi-record holder.
Mike Bridges a hands down choice...but still lifting. Likewise Gene Bell.
Just some suggestions.
