"Our best lifters are being tested several times a year so the idea that they are slipping through is unfounded."

The info currently viewable in the database doesn't reflect this consistently. I'm not saying that it isn't true, just that I can't see info reflecting that when I type some big names in.

I typed in Tony Cardella's name and I can clearly see that he's been tested consistently and that he's been OMT's several times over the last couple of years. In fact, it showed that he was OMT more than he'd been IMT. Other names didn't show that consistently.

" There is a presumption that the test is easy to beat."

Agreed. I think that comes from two things. People know that at most meets that 10% will be tested. It's a minimum number but at local/state/small meets it's almost a financial rule that 10% will be tested and no more. So, some people might be willing to play those odds. It's not exactly beating the TEST as much as not getting tested.

" The fact that several APF lifters who have come to the USAPL have tested positive show that it is not all that easy. "

Agreed. Like I said, we see names added to the roster of shame. LOL

"One of the lifters is a friend of mine and was "off" for more than a year when the test was administered. "

He shouldn't have joined or lifted. The membership app and entry form requires you state upon your honor that you've been free of roids and such for 3 years.

"The USAPL has had a major impact on IPF drug testing. Increased testing at the international level is due to pressure applied primarily by the US. "

That is a good thing however many see the reduction of the suspensions of the Russians and Ukrainians as a problem, myself included. These two countries had refused to clean up their programs ,and had so many failures to the point where they whole country had to be sanctioned, and then they got time off for doing what they should have been doing all along.

The US had one person fail for EPHEDRINE and lost a lifter on the next world team, had to rearrange our contest schedule so the whole world team could be tested and we got no reduction in sentence for following the rules?

"We were invited to participate in the Arnold partly because we do test. The Arnold has made it their mission to gradually phase out non-tested events from the festival."

I'll believe that when I see it. Pro Bodybuilding without drugs is like a stripper without a boob job.

" Our local and OMT program have improved greatly in the last few years"

In what ways? I'm not trying to be sarcastic but I'm really not aware of any changes other than the "athlete invitation to testing" form and the price increase for tests.
