In Response To: OHIO HIGH SCHOOL POWERLIFTING CHAMPIONSHIPS (DAVID RICKS)

We had a very good meet this past Saturday. We had 49 lifters from the local area high schools.
Special thanks to all of those who came out and helped.

This meet was successfull due to the hard work
of all the USAPL folks who came out and assisted and made this meet efortless despite having to reschedule due
to a minor SNOW event. Joe Marksteiner and his
exceptional program wowed them with the dispaly. Steve Petrencak assisted with scorers table.
Stephanie Dzurnak, Andy Furnas, Greg Page, my wife were the judges. Ron Dues was a loader.

A very special thanks to Greg Page for his leadership in improving USAPL
in the state of Ohio. He never misses an opportunity to move our organization
forward.

Also a big thanks to Tim Seelig the Shawnee weightlifting coach who set up
the school to host this meet. This has the potential being a bigger meet
in the future.

This was a 1st ever USAPL meet in that area and everyone was very
impressed.
