Men's Open-Teen-Junior Nationals - UPDATES

ENTRY ROSTER: The FINAL entry roster has been posted to the championship website at www.mensnationals.com. If you intended to participate and you do not see your name on the roster, you must contact me immediately.

SCHEDULE UPDATE: The 100kg class session, originally scheduled for Saturday evening, has been combined with 90kg class and will take place on Saturday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. Registration, weigh-in and gear check for the 90 & 100 kg classes is at 11:30-1:00 p.m.

HOTEL SHUTTLE SERVICE: The Hilton Palm Springs is located within 2 miles of the Palm Springs International Airport. Courtesy phones direct to the Hilton are located in the baggage claim area. A shuttle van should arrive within 15 minutes of your call. It is an easy 5 minute ride to the hotel.

NGB MEETING: The NGB Meeting will take place on Thursday at 6:00 p.m. at the Hilton Palm Springs in the Plaza Ballroom C/D located just off the hotel lobby. All current USAPL members are welcome to attend.

ATTN REFEREES: The Annual IPF Recertification Clinic will be offered on Friday evening at the Palm Springs Convention Center, immediately following the awards presentation of the afternoon session. State and National referees are welcome and encouraged to attend.

SCALE AT THE HOTEL: There will be a calibrated scale at the hotel for weight check purposes only. It will be located in the ‘Caliente’ room (top of the stairs from the lobby on the 2nd floor). The official competition scale will be located at the Convention Center.

VILLAGEFEST: If you are arriving on Thursday, attendees are encouraged to attend the Palm Springs VillageFest. Held every Thursday evening, Villagefest is a free, open street faire along Palm Canyon Drive offering great street entertainment and 200 booths showcasing art, handcrafted items and unique food in the heart of beautiful downtown Palm Springs.

WEATHER: Guaranteed forecast: Sunny and HOT! Although it is a “dry” heat. Dress light and bring a bathing suit.
