In Response To: 2009 Arnold qualifying questions (Jeff Jobes)

Hi Jeff,

The primary selection process is to select top lifters- male and female, from the Raw Nationals. To help ensure its importance and relevance, this national championship shall serve as the OFFICIAL qualifier for the ASF Raw Challenge.

If there are not a suffient number of lifters from the Raw National Championship that achieve the qualifying wilks total, the committee will draw from lifters qualified in the second tier, and the third tier if necessary.

Based on the anticipated attendance for Raw Nationals, the interest from lifters who competed at this year's ASF to return, and the excitement that this year's Arnold Raw Challenge created. I would be surprised if there was selection from the second teir. Remember, due to time constraints, the event limited to 50 lifters.
