In Response To: Is the IPF still affiliated with The Olympics? (Sean #####, Hardcore Powerlifting.com)

The IPF has received IOC recognition evidenced by IPF inclusion in the IOC World Games. The IPF meets ALL IOC qualifications while this upstart "federation" meets NONE of them. He are two they will NEVER meet:

1.1 only sports widely practised by men represented by an international sports body with at least seventy-five member countries and on four continents, and by women in at least forty member countries and on three continents, may be
included in the programme of the Games of the
Olympiad;

1.3 only sports that adopt and implement the World Anti-Doping Code can be included and remain in the programme of the Olympic Games;

Hope this sheds some light on the issue.
