That has to be the dumbest thing I have ever heard. So just because you didn't lift the weight on that particular brand of rack, you didn't really do the lift? Come on, give me a break. It would be one thing if these ER,Combo racks, or whatever version of them were any good. The idea is ok, but they just don't cut it. They are ok for squatting, but are very poor for the bench press. Once you get any weight near 500+ on them in the bench, they get very wobbly. I lift primarily in the USAPL, but these ridiculous rules are why the USAPL/IPF get such a bad rap.
