MEET ANNOUNCEMENT - USAPL So. California Regional

All interested athletes and officials are invited to attend the 2008 USAPL Southern California Regional Powerlifting & Bench Press Championships to be held on Saturday, November 15, 2008 at Velocity Sports Performance in Santa Clarita, CA. The Southern California Regional is open to all levels of experience, new and elite, and will offer events in standard equipped and raw categories.

Velocity Sports Performance is about to celebrate its grand opening in Santa Clarita. The new 20,000 square foot facility combines advanced sports performance training programs and world-class performance coaches in a state-of-the-art training center.

The competition area will be situated on over 4,000 sq. ft within the facility. The competition platform will feature Ivanko plates, the new Q-Bar, ER Rack, carpeted 8x12 platform and computerized scoring, bar load and timing programs on projection screens. The warm-up area will offer 3 carpeted platforms outfitted with Combo-Racks.
