Jason, Again, great meet! The outstanding lifter awards of battle axes and swords were (as my kids said when I got home with the axe) "SWEET". There were quite a few new lifters, and some were impressive. Besides the lifting, it is always great to see the old friends and meet new people who share our passion for lifting. Steve Greene's American Record Bench was awesome (275's M3 3-lift), I can't even remember what he ended up with, 530 or so? Also the new 50 yr old SHW (at 276 lbs) Chris was impressive with his first meet and an easy 485 bench. Also, the meet shirts with all the lifters (& sponsers) names on the back was nice touch. (The snow man on the front of the shirt doing a squat hit a little close to home for us supers.)
