I actually tried to contact him back in 1998 when I set up the conversion chart to allow using Wilks in pounds rather than kilos. He never answered my letter. I then gave the completed conversion chart to then-secretary Cheryl Auld who brought it to USAPL Exec. Comm. They then contacted Wilks who okayed it sight unseen.

Later Mike Trupiano ran the numbers plotting them out as a curve and found anomalies where I had inadvertently reverses two numbers. I then made corrections on the conversion chart and contacted the USAPL Secretary and webmaster who posted the corrected versions. Alan Gibson found some anomalies in calculations made by the late Mel Siff who never responded to any of my requests that he doubled check his work. I finally made the corrections myself but gave Alan Gibson the credit he deserved.
