Rectifying an Injustice

In today’s world age discrimination is rampant. Whether it is getting a job or a date with a college hottie, older people have a tougher time getting equitable treatment. Just off the top of my head (which is very smooth and shiny) lets consider nominations for the Arnold. Of the 58 masters lifters at Raw Nationals, only 8 exceeded the Wilk’s formula 400 for men and 360 for women needed to be invited to the Arnold. Now this is not even enough to fill a flight. Let’s take an arbitrary number for a perfect flight, say 10, and see what criteria would be needed to achieve this ideal flight.
Over 50 with a Wilks total using the age coefficient and say a total of 430 or higher would seem to be an excellent criteria for reaching this worthy objective. After researching the results I found that two more lifters would be qualified: Jim Yakubovsky (from Texas at 61 years of age with a total of 447.31 w/age coef.) and Ron Beuch (from Virginia at 58 years of age with a total of 432.36 (w/age coef).
Now let me state that I have no personal agenda involved in this recommendation. It is only by sheer coincidence that I would be one of the two lifters from the new politically appropriate and morally correct category. I feel that this is a cause that pledge master Bluto should take up and spear head with a vengeance. Go get em MAD!!
