Another difference is that Alexander actually was kind to the Jews and allowed them more privileges than they had under Persian rule.
His successors in Asia Minor, the Seleucids, however tried to extinguish Judaism and were themselves extinguished . . . not that kinda resembles Hitler's case as well!
