First of all, it was good that that lift was not for a spot on the world team or something, but we all have to try and put this whole thing in perspective, specially when you watch someone tear a quad muscle an hour before- I'll take a simple judging error.
I have not opened raw in a while now. My first two lifts were an easy 551 and 574 - I felt really good, despite low expectations based on my workouts.
I have not heard from Kevin Johnson (New York) in a while - a great bencher and good world team mate. Kevin, if you're out there - hello, how is the crystal vase you bought in Slovakia doing?
Nectar, are you training for Germany yet (of course I mean for the Octoberfest a week after the Worlds)?
