John Inzer is the Best

We had a small qualifier and with a bench and deadlift meet in Charleston yesterday. I want to thank John Inzer for all of his help. They don't come any better than John and IAD. Also, want to thank all of the people who worked so hard for this meet and to the North Charleston Rec Dept for providing the venue. Every time I get involved in putting on a meet, I swear I will never do this again but by the time it is over, I am thinking about the next one, where to do it, how can it be improved and who can I get to help.

A few of the high-lights were Dr. Bernie Miller made his comeback to competitive benching and will be competing at the National Bench Press Meet. Mike Stanley finally pulled his 605# deadlift at 165# bodyweight, in a meet, he has been doing this in the gym for a couple of years but couldn't get it to the meet. Tom Isbel got a 485# bench and he listened for the commands. :>) Plus, there were several new lifters who become addicted to powerliftin yesterday and we will see them on a national platform soon.

Again, thanks to all of those hardworking people who made this happen.

Regina
