Okay the California Question

Okay we all know that weird stuff happens in California (My last visit 2 weeks ago I saw a 12' step ladder wedged in a car's wheel well as he was going 60 mph on the 101).

So how do all of the California federations get along so well? I see the USPF, USAPL, AAU, APC, APF, etc all put on meets and be supported by members in the other federations.

Just curious how a state with so much wrongness about it can get something right the eludes the rest of the powerlifting world. LOL
