In Response To: Susumu Yoshida for IPF President (Nectar Kirkiris)

Nectar,
Please tell me more about him. I don't know much about him other than he runs a gym.

What are his plans for change if he is elected? It's one thing to see problems but what will he do differently? What are his goals and how would he accomplish them?

Some of the problems you've mentioned seem beyond the scope of one man to change - such as the fleecing of lifters and the placing of more administrators in the Hall of Fame than lifters. That would require broad support and a "coalition of the willing" so to speak.

Also, you mention that he sees the broad goals for the sport rather than personal ones AND that he has international business experience. If I'm not mistaken, he is a gear vendor. How would he reconcile the broad goals with the personal interests of that business, especially given the current climate regarding gear.
