The interesting thing is that the IPF rule is against lifting in other World Championships in "powerlifting or bench press".
The implication must be that lifting in the WABDL World Champs in the Deadlift is OK, since "powerlifting" refers to all three lifts, which is why the "bench press" is broken out separately in the rule.
That actually makes sense in that the IPF does run a BP world champs, but not a DL championship.
Anyway, my presumption is that lifting in the WABDL BP world's might cause trouble with the IPF, but that lifting in the WABDL DL world's would not. If anyone disagrees, please say so.
