In Response To: Trouble getting a bench shirt on (Jay Hadden)

Jay, you've already gotten good advice from Mike and J.T. I'm raw, but I read Mike's website and am now (unfortunately) considered good at putting shirts on others. Baby powder shoulders and upper arms and use slippers for lower arms (and momentum towards upper arms). Use rubber-gripped gloves to save fingers, and stand the shirt-wearer against the wall as you push the sleeves up. Once on, have the shirt-wearer kneel while you wear the gloves, standing behind him. Then, take your right hand and reach inside his left shoulder and pull back. Reverse on the other side. Then, stand the shirt-wearer up, and (wearing gloves) grab the collar in front and hang from it. Then, grab again at the sternum/top-of-belly. Finally, hold the front bottom seam with your left hand (pulling out) and put your right elbow in the fabric and push down. This is a great time to have a 3rd person to help with the belt.
