"In the NAPF it is pretty much a development with few established IPF countries. So your top calibre lifters whom are trying to spread their $$$ to go to all the meets they need to (nationals, regionals and worlds) may bypass the NAPF because of the lack of competition and concentrate on the national and world stages."
G,
I think that one issue is that the NAPF isn't well known to a lot of US lifters. I have heard of it and have visited the site a couple of times over the years but it really isn't something that I think about every day.I'm guessing that for a lot of lifters, it's either unknown or thought of as "other." The average lifter probably thinks along these lines - State Meet, Nationals, USAPL, IPF. NAPF doesn't even enter the "normal" thoughts.
Perhaps that will change over time. The NAPF is still new and developing and as more lifters like Clint go and tell others, it will grow.
Hmmm... Geezers in May, Aruba in June? You thinking what I'm thinking?
