heres my two cents...dont train for it per se; train his strength (full range of motion!), then toss in one 225xreps workout maybe once a month in place of the heavy workouts (not the whole workout, just the bp part of his bench day). Remember, when hes at a combine, he wont likely get time to warm up, they tend to just toss em on the bench and tell em to "go". ive seen individual workouts/sessions where the scout let em warm up, but all reports ive had from THE combine, they just tell em to go.
