Eric,

I did not say you were bashing us but you know from reading the forums there are those who do.

And Jennifer was right in saying the calendar is getting very crowded in the spring. The IPF has moved and combined some of the World Meets, so we have had to adjust our schedule of National Meets. Bench Press Nationals happens to be one such meet. I would think the EC is trying to find the best times for the meets tp accomadate as many lifters as possible. And a March bench press nationals is not a good time. First, we have the Women's Nationals in February, this year the BPN in March, the Masters Bench Press Worlds in April, the Open World Bench Press Meet in May, the North American Regionals in June, the Men's open Nationals in July. Yes I would say, we do need to more any meet that we can to another date and that is just what has been done. Nothing is written in stone. It was questioned several weeks ago why couldn't the Bench Press Nationals be moved back to when it has always been held. Apparently the powers that be thought this was a good idea.
