In Response To: Rotorcuff Surgery/Powerlifting (Lainy)

Hi Lainy, A few years ago , I had a complete tear of the Supraspinatus ,infraspinatus completely back to the terres minor. I also avulsed the bone(Portion of the bone pulled out}and had an AC joint repair. I was told to stop lifting. Most ortho Doctors suggest , stop lifting. I was 53 yrs.old at the time. I did rehab, trained around the injury and I lifted 7 months later. I still train around the injury. Be smart and do alot of rotator work. It is possible to still lift after rotator surgery.I wish you well and do your rehab. Sincerely, Harriet Hall
