To All: it was good to meet Sherman and discuss further the issues mentioned. From a medical standpoint, I would like to see more time between SQ/BP/DL. adding 5 or 10 to the clock will not slow the meet much, and may help a lot. We were dying in Dorado! It is a matter for the EC to decide at the IPF level, as we must follow their lead. I will again raise this point with IPF.

As you know I was on platform for the big boys sunday. I attended Tony Harris' injury and he is experienced to say the least so we let him continue. I would not have allowed a 15 year old to do so. Just a reminder that we always have lifter safety job #1, but we do want people to total.

I was also the back spotter for the dead's. the rule states that the spotter and a lifter's coach can suggest/request a scrub, but I may only clean the bar when the head judge orders. From a safety view I would rather see baby powder go away - equal for all and safe for all.

Congratulations once again to all participants and good luck at worlds. and thanks for the motivation for me to improve my own lifts!
