Whether you agree with the 10.11 rule or not the IPF was quick to give Siders a warning letter while others go without warning or suspension for the same rule.
You are absolutely correct;
Brian Siders and Vince White were suspended due to this rule I'm not sure if Vince actually sat as a judge at this meet, but Vince has been an IPF Cat 11 referee for well over 20 years.
Two USAPL lifters, Mike Mastrean and Eric Steiner, competed in the same meet with Eric finishing second to Ed Coan in their weight class, and they were not suspended.. Interesting fact is that Eric is an IPF referee.
When will the IPF stop their selective interpretation of rules?
It's time for the lifters to re-take the control of our sport.
