In Response To: Re: Questions about locked knees and squats (Steve Denison)

Sorry Steve: Unlike the bench there is no allowance in the squat for a knee that will not lock.
Sometimes people put there own interpretation to a rule.
I have observed lifters come out and point to a knee indicating that it will lock--sorry- it must lock.
What was taking place in some instances was a knee locking and then unlocking and re-locking again.
On a seperate note- I dont think I have ever agreed with you on this forum---until last week.
I am not a big fan of side referees raising hands
but as of now it is the rule, so I have to follow it.
I have written several items on my opinion but they all have fallen on deaf ears.
