Jack, as you know I agree with you on the knees as we have discussed this. The rulebook addresses the problem with elbows but says the knees must be locked and nothing else. Lifters want the referees to be on the same page and go by the rules and not make up rules as they go. Well, this sounds to me like the referees were going by the rulebook.
