Roger,
Perhaps just try putting on one meet a year. That way you don't get burned out, don't wear out your support staff and can actually enjoy it if you only do it once a year.

If you try to do 3-4 meets a year you can get burned out because it seems like as soon as you finish with one, you're prepping for another, you never get to actually lift in a meet and you're not overburdening your friends who help at the meet.

It's a good way to give something to the sport and the lifters will appreciate it.
