I've considered that also Lou but then again setting meet records at certain long term meets is a pretty big deal, especially at Nationals.

My thinking on this is that this sport is really record driven whether they are PRs, or the classification levels ClassIV through Elite) or State records etc. Meet records are a good way to keep lifters motivated.

The real confusion is because many people have never known the difference.
